Darlington – Funeral services for Mrs. Tacy Johnson Quigg will be held at the Methodist Church Friday morning at 11 o’clock with Dr. Lawrence Hadley of West Lafayette and Rev. Lyman Cosand, Bloomingdale officiating; interment in Green Lawn Cemetery.

Darlington, Jan 1 – Mrs. Tacy Johnson Quigg, ill two weeks died at 7:30 o’clock Tuesday evening at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where she had been a patient since Monday. Mrs. Quigg, who resided south of here was born July 30, 1858 three and one half miles south of Darlington in the Gravely Run community, a daughter of Joseph and Jemima Johnson and was married March 15, 1883 to Francis F. Quigg.  She was a birthright member of the Society of Friends. Her husband died over 30 years ago. Surviving are five sons: Claude of near Crawfordsville; Clifford of Shannondale; Alfred of New Richmond; Curtis of near here and Morris at home; four daughters, Mabel and Rena at home; Mrs. Bertha Hymer, Parkersburg and Mrs. Josie Sorrels, Smartsburg; a ister, Miss Rachel Johnson living here; a brother, WE Johnson of Joplin, Mo with 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
